Most schools either lack this basic teaching aid or the existing ones needed a repair/replacement. Many students used to paint their walls black or teachers used to face a great difficulty in teaching on the hanging black plastic sheets. Therefore, we started to do our best in refurbishing the existing blackboards by repairing and painting them or furnishing new ones in classrooms which don't have any. More than 830 schools have been provided with blackboards so far at the expense of Rs 53.6 lakhs and more than 1,66,000 children have benefited from this project.
